On Saturday 28 March 2026, the MU will join Together Alliance for a major national demonstration in London, uniting with hundreds of organisations and thousands of individuals to oppose the growing threat of the far right.

Together Alliance is a UK‑wide coalition of civil society organisations, campaigns, trade unions, community groups, artists and public figures — all standing together against hate, racism and division.

It is in our history to stand up against racism and the far right

Across Britain and internationally, the far right and fascism are on the rise. Continued mobilisation to challenge racism — both on our streets and within institutions — is needed now more than ever.

It is in our history as a union to proudly stand up against racism and the far right. As musicians, workers and community members, we all have a role to play in standing firm against those who seek to divide us and spread hatred.
